She's adorable. He may be fawning over her, just a little, eyes bright.

"I'm sure she'll be bigger than all of them in no time," he says. "And flying all over the place!" He supposes the griffins could still get rough with her though, even when she's older. "I'm the Doctor," he adds, because it's polite. He can be polite. "My dragon's still in the shell. Taking the time for me to settle in, I suppose."

He hopes that's why, anyway. He doesn't know much about dragons, other than what he's learned while here.
