Addie squeaked excitedly when Shapka booped her nose, flapping small wings and hopping up and down. She reared up on her hind legs for a moment, which nearly put her head level with Shapka's, then tried to tackle the other dragon. Unfortunately, it didn't work as well as she'd hoped, and she just sort of...plowed into her.

Sam shook his head at his dragon's antics, rolling his eyes. "I know, but...they don't see things like humans do, I think. They're smart, but not on the same level we are. They don't grasp complex concepts like...like a lot of what's in your head. It'll be fine, Bucky."

Yeah, he really wasn't the right person to explain all this. "Okay, so there are other universes out there, right? Other worlds like ours, only different. Some of them are a whole lot closer to being like ours than you might expect."
