[ Kenshin is fairly accustomed to being under-dressed for colder weather, having spent ten years wandering without home or income. The most he's bothered to do is buy a scarf from the markets, wrapped warmly around his neck and chin—he's saving the rest until he finds a hakama and kimono of more familiar style.
Of course, there's a lot to be uncomfortable about besides the weather. Kenshin is innocently minding his own business, deep in thought while he inspects a few of the market stalls that appear to have clothing more similar to what he would prefer, when a ceramic jar nearby furiously expels its own lid and sends water splashing everywhere. ]
ORO!
[ He jumps backwards, now rather wet. It happens again, and Kenshin (making essentially no effort to prevent his own damp demise as he stumbles around the stalls) this time identifies nearby sneezing. He doesn't quite make the connection yet, but he does at least have the decency to worry about the person doing the sneezing. ]
Careful that you don't get wet—you don't want to make your cold worse in this weather, so you don't.
