Sam hasn't had much of an opportunity to talk to the other scions yet, but he's under the impression that the majority of them are as new as he is; most of the other dragons he's seen, regardless of size, look more or less newborn. Hers appears to be a little past that stage, at least, well into the toddler stage.

Her clothes are nicer than his, too, he notices - not that he's had any choice in his clothing yet. He's still wearing what he woke up in, and it's pretty plain. Maybe he needs to spend some of the gold in his belt pouch on some nicer duds.
