I think enjoying something for the sake of it might be its own purpose? That is...hm. I suppose it depends on how you look at a thing? For example, watching a sunset. The sunset is happening because of a lot of scientific stuff...but you don't really get anything from watching it happen. So even though it exists for a reason, watching it...it's just for your own joy, right?
