Yoshitsugu's reaction was mild, seemingly not bothered by the question. It wasn't that he'd not suffered through the actions of the war, because of course he had, but he accepted that... and kept it all very hidden deep inside himself. Right behind his 'mask.'

"A foot soldier of no relevance when I started. A strategist and general following a friend's dream when I died."

Foolish, foolish Mitsunari; all naivety and passion and determination in the face of an opponent they could never hope to defeat. But wasn't that same passion what moved Yoshitsugu to defend him, fight for him, even though he knew it would mean his own death?

That probably made him a bigger fool, but he had no regrets about it.

"Just one life amongst thousands. Mine wasn't particularly special, except in the eyes of two particular morons, but they can't help having terrible taste in friends."
