She pauses a moment and strokes Kiyohime's head as the dragon stretches out some to examine Sam's dragon. It's not so much she's skeptical, just that if there is a reason she figures it's not a good one. "Hmm... Maybe..." Yuri'll give him that much at least, then shakes her head. "...Sorry, this is supposed to be a happy sort of occasion. Your first dragon and all."

Sam's response has her looking amused though. Yeah, a lot of people tended to react that way--she'd been skeptical herself at first. "Yeah, something like that. No wands, though. Everyone seems to be tuned into some sort of element--the scholars and stuff can probably help you find out more. If you're from a place without magic it can be a little...overwhelming."
